This is an exciting joyful expression of creativity brought to you by Indigenous (Bininj) youth from Jabiru in the northern territory of Australia.
Th original works featured in this DVD were produced by students. The works are part of digital media program run by community prophets. This program is an initiative of Gundjeihmi Aboriginal corportation and is part of a long term educational, social and economic development plan for Mirarr families , their children and other Indigenous people of the region who are affected by the ranter uranium mine.

What is Conscious Cinema?

A space in which people gather to experience a film together and thereafter, share their ideas and feelings in dialogue. A homecooked light meal and dessert is available for sale. In the main, the films are documentaries but there are also plenty of eccentric and curious fictional films to explore. Please feel free to suggest a film!
